Lodge Lakes is around 20 minutes from Limoges Airport — flying and hiring is often the easiest way to get fishing. We pick you up free of charge and can have you lakeside within half an hour with tackle and venue bait ready.

All you need to bring are your reels, bite alarms, a small tackle box, and a sleeping bag if night fishing.

There is a small tackle shop on site for leads, hooks and the MCF slipper system (required). Individual item hire is also available — contact us for prices.

The Lodge Lake

Food Package

€175 per person, per week — The Lodge Lake

A fully cooked breakfast and two-course evening meal every day — generous portions and a varied home-cooked menu at The Lodge Lake.

  • At the lodge: sausage, bacon, double egg, beans or tomatoes, hash browns, fried slice or toast — with tea or coffee
  • Delivered to your swim: hot baguette filled with bacon, sausage and egg

Menus vary with the weather and the week — expect hearty home cooking from roast chicken and apple crumble to Thai green curry and BBQ nights.

Fish care

Tackle requirements

Whether you hire or bring your own, these standards apply on both lakes.

  • Hooks must be barbed, size 2, 4 or 6. No treble hooks.
  • Lead system must be MCF slipper only (available on site).
  • Mainline minimum 0.30mm / 15lb (nylon or fluorocarbon).
  • Landing nets minimum 42 inches. Cradles, weigh slings and nets are supplied and must be used.
  • Maximum 3 rods per angler. Unattended rods are not permitted.
