Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every Lodge Lakes holiday. The person signing the booking form accepts them on behalf of the whole party.

Who is responsible

The person signing the booking form is assumed to have full authority of all the people in the booking and to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all the persons. All correspondence will be with the person signing the booking form and is liable for all costs and charges on behalf of the party.

Rental period

The rental period starts at 1pm on Friday and finishes at 9am the following Friday. We will not be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and you will not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.

Payments

Bookings will only be held for 2 days following telephone or email reservations. The final payment must arrive within 12 weeks of your arrival and you must insure prompt payment on the dates given which are confirmed via email on booking. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and you forfeit any payments that have been made if any of these payment deadlines are not met.

Cancellation

If you cancel your booking, the deposit and any further payments that are made are non-refundable. If you cancel your holiday less than 12 weeks before the start date of your holiday, you are liable for 100% of the cost of the holiday. If the final payment is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

Amendments and refunds

We cannot offer any refunds on any monies paid nor amendment of your week to another date.

Insurance

You are strongly advised to arrange a travel insurance policy covering medical costs, cancellation, personal belongings, public liability etc, since we do not cover these. We also advise you check and update your motor insurance policy ensuring you have the correct breakdown / assistance cover. European Health Insurance Card — EHIC, is available from your local post office or online: www.ehic.org

Personal risk

Fishing is carried out entirely at your own risk and the owners accept no responsibility for any accidents or damage that might occur on the property.

Children

An adult angler must supervise all children fishing under 16 years old and you are responsible for their health and safety at all times.

Self-catering

The person signing the booking form is responsible for ensuring the accommodation is left in a clean and tidy condition. We reserve the right to make a service charge of EUR50.00 for cleaning the accommodation at the end of your holiday if this condition is not respected.

Accommodation

All breakages / damages are the responsibility of the person signing the booking form.

Furniture

Under NO circumstances should any furniture be used / taken outside of the house.

Rubbish

Please ensure that ALL rubbish is disposed of prior to the end of your holiday in the relevant bins. We are happy to dispose of any bagged rubbish or glass left at Lodge Lakes at a cost of EUR50.00.

Linen

Bed linen and towels are not supplied, they are however available for hire. There are quilts and pillows available for use inside the house but you must bring your own bed linen if not hiring from us.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate immediately the services we are contractually obliged to provide if we or our employees consider your behaviour likely to cause unacceptable annoyance or harm to another person or damage to fish or property.
